Lots of experience from every day practice as a heating engineer was of great benefit to the Altmühltaler inventor, Alfons Kruck. He had aleady begun tinkering with hydraulic solutions in many field trials prior to 1990. In the end, he discovered the best solution in thermal-hydraulic stratified storage technology – simple and yet genious.

Since 1995, highly qualified specialists with practical experience have been working on this patented technology at Ratiotherm – the success speaks for itself.
The result has been produced and successfully sold since 1996 in the form of OSKAR°. The nature of the task was clear from the outset:
