Oskar° functions entirely without external power and control devices prone to wear and tear and only on the basis of physical laws and the properties of water. For this reason, charging and discharging devices adapted to these are essential in enabling the layers of water to be optimally "organised" into different temperatures and quantities. Therefore, Ratiotherm not only supplies heat exchangers and heating circuit assemblies perfectly suited to Oskar°, but also the appropriate control technology to enable Oskar° to combine perfectly with the rest of the heating system. The control logic needed for this is adapted to the respective heating concept with its heat generators and heat consumers, as well as tailored to the the individual user requirements.
Producing heated drinking water hygienically and easily
The instant fresh water heater (TWK) heats up the cold water in a "continuous flow" using the hot water from Oskar°. This means that only the amount of water actually needed is heated up. In this way, legionella bacteria does not stand a chance of multiplying to numbers potentially harmful to health. The intelligent Ratiotherm control technology additionally ensures that the water quantity and temperature can be infinitely adjusted making it easily available and particularly convenient. Cascade heaters are available from Ratiotherm to meet greater, hot fresh water requirements; the integrated Ratiotherm control technology allows individual heating modules to be switched on and off in a fraction of a second as needed.
Compact solar systems for the utmost efficiency possible
The compact solar systems (SOK) comprise two water circuits, each with their own pumps, which are separated by a heat exchanger. Only when the heat exchanger has generated the required temperature, does the second pump start up and supply Oskar° with hot water. This prevents the unwanted cooling down of the storage tank due to lower solar temperatures. Furthermore, flow control valves can be used to control the rate of flow to enable the highest possible level of efficiency for Oskar° and the collector.
Heating circuit assemblies for all requirements
Three different adjustable heating circuit assemblies allow for exceptionally energy-efficient and convenient heat distribution, and in an exceptionally compact manner. The circuits are available as the following types, depending on requirements: non-controlled (UK), with a fixed heat setting (FK) or as a controlled model (MK).
